To be able to perform accurate potential estimates, we will need NFPs to acquire GIS based data sets for land use/land classification, topology, and geographical locations of demand centers.
Based on this, we will be able to calculate the suitable solar application, capacity and generation. We can also perform a multi-criteria analysis to choose the most suitable locations for solar plant installations
We also need information about how solar projects are usually financed in the country apart from grants and aids. This information is not available online.
