Fig. 1 Double-microcatheter technique. Unruptured basilar-tip aneurysm case of 41-year-old female. Aneurysm size is 10mm, neck 5.2mm, and DNR=1.94. Panels A and B show the pre-embolization imaging on catheter angiography. Panels C and D show the initial occlusion. Panels E and F show the angiographic follow-up at 100months. Panels G and H show the skullx-ray follow-up at 120months, which demonstrates stable and solid coil mass structure. Fig. 2 Single stent assisted coiling. Unruptured basilar-tip aneurysm case of 52-year-old female. Aneurysm size is 13mm, neck 10.5mm, DNR=1.3. Panel A is the pre-embolization imaging on catheter angiography. Panel B is the initial occlusion, which demonstrates small neck-filling (near complete occlusion). Panel C is the angiographic follow-up at 10months showing a recanalization of aneurysm sac. Panel D is post-retreatment with single microcatheter coiling technique showing a complete aneurysm occlusion. Panel E is the angiographic 24-months follow-up after the re-treatment which demonstrates aneurysm sac recanalization. Panel F is the third endovascular occlusion angiogram using double-microcatheter technique and which small neck filling is shown. Panels G and H show the 15-months MRA after the third treatment or 63months after the first procedure. It shows a stable aneurysm neck remnant (yellow arrow).
