Business Challenge Results US-based healthcare information technology company lacked centralized visibility into spend and contingent workforce across lines of business Lack of visibility into contingent workforce, specifically IC, created co-employment risks, along with cost and efficiency concerns Provided centralized visibility to spend as current platform did not have the functionality/capabilities to present accurate and holistic picture of spend and headcount across lines of business With a higher than expected IC population, was able to mitigate risk surrounding co-employment issues Solution TAPFIN implemented MSP program to manage contingent workforce in approximately 3-month timeframe Through Wisdom Solutions, conducted SPM overview, ICM management, and ongoing discussions in deploying SOW Since current VMS system did now allow for seamless transition to new VMS, processes were established which also required redesigning of system Program Statistics Countries: US Total managed spend: $5M, with $80-$100M anticipated for both program phases Headcount managed: 55, with 1,000 expected for both phases of program Cost savings achieved: $54K, with committed targets of $5M for first year Number of suppliers: 30 VMS technology: Econometrix Delivery model: Vendor neutral
