UEF Secretary activity report
According to article 7.8 of the Union of the European Foresters Constitution, the UEF Secretary keeps an archive for the UEF member organizations addresses and another archive for the Constitution, the implementing rules and the UEF Congress, Governing Council and Presidency meeting minutes.

UEF Secretary activity report
In 2005, after the Congress from Freising, the UEF Secretary asked Syilvie Demirdjian and Alex Christodoulu, the former UEF Secretaries, the minutes of the Congress, Governing Council and Presidency in order to complete the Union of the European Foresters archive.

At this moment, all documents received from the two former UEF Secretaries for the period were placed inside the UEF archive and, from the last UEF Congress until now, the UEF archive contains all the documents of this period.

At the moment, the UEF has 23 member organizations from 19 countries, with a total number of 64,386 members: 1. Shoqata Shqiptare e Specialisteve te Pyjeve – Albania members 2. Verband Ősterreichischer Förster – Austria – 450 members 3. Association des Ingénieus Des Eaux et Forêts et Universitaires de la Division de la Nature et des Forêts – Belgium – 90 members 4. Union of Independent Bulgarian Professional Foresters – Bulgaria–151 members 5. Union of Bulgarian Foresters – Bulgaria – 300 members 6. Hrvatski Sindikat Sumarstva – Croatia – 8,000 members 7. Cyprus Association of Professional Foresters – Cyprus – 48 members 8. Foresters Association Graduates of the Cyprus Forestry College – Cyprus – 213 members

Schweizerischer Ingenieur- und Architekten – Verein – Fachverein Wald – Switzerland – 200 members In terms of worldwide economic and financial crisis, it was found that there are changes regarding the number of the UEF members and even its member organizations.

During the last 4 years, the Union of the European Foresters has lost some member organizations of England and Norway but it has also brought new member organizations from Albania, Austria, Croatia, Denmark and Moldova Republic.

I would like to make a mention and to thank the Presidency members, especially to Mr. Herve Nemoz and Mr. Hakan Nystrand for their support offered to the UEF Secretary in his activity. Thank you all for your attention.
