Exploration has a very low impact on the environment if done correctly.
A few points to remember:
1) Adhere to EMP
2) A compensation agreement with the farmer/ local community must be in place.
3) Always consult with farmers and/or communities in the exploration area – keep good relations by informing the farmers/ local communities on exploration plans.
4) Respect local traditions
5) The explorationist must have knowledge on animal behaviour

Unprofessional conduct by many environmental practitioners can be observed (cut and paste practises as well as conflict of interest in some instances)
