Eadweard Muybridge (1830 – 1904)
Known worldwide for his brilliance and his eccentric photography skills aka landscapes How he required said skill is unknown Spends his free time creating Freeze Frames that capture progressive movements within fractions of a second Migrated to America, where he got a head injury that causes his behavior to change Changed his name from Edward James Muggeridge to Eadweard Muybridge Kept on inventing and taking pictures Born in Kingston upon Thames, UK

Inspiration? To prove that there was a moment when “a horse’s gallop when all four hooves left the ground at once.” - he invented the Zoopraxiscope Passion was also his other inspiration to continue with motion and photography even after the bet

The Zoopraxiscope: Used a system that presented an “automatic electro – photograph.” “electromagnetic shutter times allowed Muybridge to dramatically improve his technique within a decade of his pioneering work.” – The invention took about 12 photos at a time Muybridge used “freeze – framed images” that then helped develop the start of motion picture. -
