5. Project Procedure Day 1: Project Overview
Students take a totalitarian nation and turn it into a graphic novel or comic story.
Topic-totalitarian nation: Italy, Japan, Germany, Spain, and Soviet Union
Focus on the post-war period

11. Project Procedure Days 2-3: Historical Research
Students work on completing Graphic Novel Research Totalitarianism handout for their country. The goal is to understand the topic and to develop ideas for how they will create their graphic novel.

12. Project Procedure Days 4-6: Creating a Graphic Novel
Focus on storyboarding, scripting, and drawing their novel.

Graphic novels are due. Students review their graphic novels as a group

When Scripting, its important to know how your page is going to lay out, that way you can organize the action
