2. To find out when people do things, you might ask:
What do you do after school?
Was machst du nach der Schule?

3. They might tell you: In the afternoon I do (play) sports.
Am Nachmittag mache ich Sport.

4. They might tell you: In the evening I do homework and watch tv.
Und am Abend mache ich die Hausaufgaben und schaue Fernsehen.

5. You might ask: On the weekend? What do you do on the weekend?
Und am Wochenende? Was machst du am Wochenende?

6. The other person might respond:
Hm, on the weekend I visit friends.
Tja, am Wochenende besuche ich Freunde.

7. You might ask:
What do you do in the summer?
Was machst du im Sommer?

8. The other person might respond:
In the summer I like to hike.
