Local Zoning and Ordinances
In a nutshell, in California it is unlawful to restrict the installation of solar panels for aesthetic reasons. Restrictions are only possible for demonstrated health and safety concerns. Does Maryland have this type of legislation? If not, why not? If not, is it pending in the foreseeable future?

Other Issues State and Local Regulations
* Need for laws and regulations to “overrule” unreasonable and arbitrary barriers. * Need for a “one-stop-shop” to approve solar application permits. - technical (structural, piping, electrical, energy efficiency, etc.) - economic viability (does it make sense?) - aesthetics, neighborhood concerns, etc.
