6 Data challenges Limited data available through Labour Force surveys (using ‘status in employment’) Even more limited administrative data, where sex (of business owners) disaggregation is lacking But….ad-hoc studies in e.g. Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Republic of Moldova
