3 Proposed Timeline January–April 2018 May, 2018 June, 2018
Board of Education May, 2018 Contract offers Human Resources June, 2018 Notifications Human resources Approval for salary schedules, work calendars, contract verbiage, etc. May 1-14: Roll assignments for salaried personnel into new fiscal year file and verify data. May 15: Distribute electronic contracts for probationary, tenured, OT/PT, and administrative staff. May : Contract offers may be accepted/ declined immediately upon receipt. The deadline for employee action is 15 days from receipt of the original . If the contract is not accepted or declined, reminders will be sent on the following schedule: 12 days before deadline 7 days before deadline 1 day before deadline -- Day of deadline June 1: Distribute notification notices for salaried personnel not included in the probationary, tenured, OT/PT, and administrative staff employee groups. Notification notices do not require action by the employee and no reminders are scheduled. Human Resources Final testing Communication with staff

4 What happens if a contract offer is declined or No action is taken on the offer?
Workflow Initiated to Employee Contract Declined or No Action Taken Notification to HR--Begin Appropriate Action Declined contract offers—If an employee chooses to decline a contract, they must provide a reason when submitting their declaration. No action taken on Tenured contract offers—It is optional whether or not tenured staff respond to the contract offer. automated reminders will continue until the 15-day deadline has passed. Once the deadline has passed, tenured contracts will be recorded as accepted as long as they have not been declined. No action taken on Probationary, ot/pt, or administrative contract offers—Once the 15-day deadline has passed, hr will receive a workflow with this information. At this point, it is assumed the contract is declined and termination procedures begin.
