Motorcyclists are 26 times more likely to die than drivers of passenger cars in an accident Wearing helmets: improves the chances of survival by 42 % Helps avoid 69% of injuries to riders

Current Legislative Framework
“Protective headgear” mandatory for all drivers Every two wheeler manufacturer has to provide protective headgear free-of-cost to the buyer Pillion riders (and other riders) – No uniformity in law Helmets – subject to 18% sales tax
