National Curriculum Suggested Activities Links Assessment Use all four operations to solve problems (including those which involve measure) Take part in My Money Week Create budgets and learn about spending and saving money Keep practising our mental maths and arithmetic skills PSHE Active assessment tasks throughout the term Arithmetic test papers As Performers we will: Act Sing Dance during our end-of- year performance As school leavers we will: Complete transition activities/ days in preparation for secondary school Prepare and attend the leavers church service Prepare and present at the school leavers assembly As British citizens we will: Learn about our royal family Learn to sing the national anthem Prepare for a special community event Study examples related to British Values (and follow the election) Hello World! As musicians we will: Learn to sing a range of songs Take part in a whole school music day As outdoor learners we will: Practise for and take part in Sports Day Go camping Complete a Safety in Action course Go swimming Transition to secondary school, money skills, safety in action, British values and the royal family. As Writers we will: National Curriculum Suggested Activities Links Assessment Plan our writing, considering audience and purpose Create atmosphere and use dialogue Proofread and edit Role play to support the writing of our adventure stories Creating a presentation of our memories for the leavers assembly British Values Mus Big Write Activities: Adventure story To finish the school year we will: Shine in our end-of-year performance and leavers assembly
