VGA cable/adapter

6. AppleTV Setup Connect the AppleTV to your projector or HDTV
Connect the AppleTV to the internet – wired or wireless
Connect your iPad or Mac Computer to your AppleTV through AirPlay
Mirror your screen
Turn off mirroring to show AppleTV screens.

On the remote, pressing the center button, selects what the cursor is on, to get back to the previous menu, press the menu button. Settings (gears) usually in the second row . . .

Connect to AppleTV through AirPlay
Using an iPad, swipe up to reveal Control Center.
Tap AirPlay. You should see available AppleTVs.
Click on the AppleTV that is in your room. You might need to click mirror to show your screen
