A Man of Prestige In the first four chapters of Things Fall Apart, Achebe presents Okonkwo as a man of high status in his village. Make a double entry journal on a piece of notebook paper (see model on the next slide). Fill in the chart with details from those chapters, and compare Okonkwo’s achievements and status to the traits and actions that sometimes contradict his nobility. Support EACH response with textual evidence correctly cited (i.e. parenthetical citation), (5 entries for each side) You may work with a partner if you wish to do so, but both must turn in a separate document.
