2 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves 
break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.  Scripture

3 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,  Scripture

11 Are you chasing things that are earthly and temporary?

Light = truth, goodness Darkness = ignorance, evil Eye = spiritual sight v.s. spiritual blindness Do we see how God and the things of God are better than the temporary things of this earth?

Matthew 6:24 24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

18 Are you serving the wrong master?
Everybody serves a master. Earthly possessions can become our god/master. As Christians, we call Christ as our Lord.

19 Conclusion Are you chasing things that are earthly and temporary?
Are you spiritually blind? Are you serving the wrong master? By God’s forgiveness and the help of the Holy Spirit, we can be free from Mammon and free to serve Him.
