Can one small action or decision change a person’s life? What if you leave home a fraction of a second too late to cross paths with someone you might have fallen in love with? Double Entry Journal As you read, “A Sound of Thunder” by Ray Bradbury – Create a double entry journal. 10 Entries (Different guidelines than before!) Please type! Pull 10 quotes from the story/ elaborate, explain, question 1. “A warm phlegm gathered in Eckels’s throat; he swallowed and pushed it down…” pg. 36 The imagery in this passage is intense, right at the beginning of the short story. He seems nervous to do what he is about to do. Why would you travel back in time JUST to shoot an animal?
