3 STUDYING THE BEST TIME TO STUDY IS WHEN YOU ARE MORE FOCUSED AND MOTIVATED . IF YOU WORK YOUR BEST LISTENING TO MUSIC THAN YOU SHOULD PROBABLY LISTEN TO MUSIC WHEN YOU STUDY. IF YOU STUDY BETTER WHEN YOU WORK IN GROUPS BE SURE TO STAY ON TOPIC. SOME GOOD WAYS TO STDY ARE: STUDY IN PEACE AND QUIET, A LITTLE BIT OF MUSIC WONT HURT AS LONG AS IT IS QUIET AND SOFT, STUDY IN GOOD LIGHTING SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE READING, STAY ORGANIZED IF YOU ARE MESSY YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHERE YOUR THINGS ARE.

4 WRITING ESSAYS WHEN MAKING AN ESSAY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS STAR WITH AN OUT LINE AND WRITE FOUR OR FIVE DRAPHS IT WILL HELP YOUR ESSAY LOOK MORE PUBLISHED AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR SPELLING AND GRAMMER ARE CORRECT. AN ESSAY SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE AN INTRODUCTION THAT CONTAINS YOUR THESIS,A BODY THAT GIVES supporting sentences to your topic sentence , and lastly a conclusion that gives a summary of your essay and ties it all together.

5 thinking Thinking skills are very important to have ,they can help you to come up with ideas ,and theories and help you memorize what you have heard , seen , and read and learn your subjects more effectively. Here are some ways you can develop stronger thinking skills: ask your self and others questions, if there is a question there has to be an answer, do your research, and much more.

6 Test-taking Tests can be a stressful ordeal but when you are well prepared it is a lot easier there are many different strategies on how to take a test but here are some of the most popular ones: read all the directions you never know what your teacher wants you to do, always write your name you could get an A but the teacher wont know who did the test and not mark it at all , if you don’t understand what you are supposed to do ask the teacher, review your answers you could make a mistake that could have been fixed if you had looked over your test, there are many more.

7 scheduling I know it feels like you spend all of your time doing your homework and studying and you have no time form anything else but you do, you just have to manage your time more efficiently. Here are some ways you can save your time : get rid of the things you do that waste time for instance watching T.V, prioritize what you need to do, complete the things you have to do, check off the tasks you have completed.

8 Learning styles we all learn in our own individual way, if you know your learning style you know what you can do to help yourself learn better but some of us don’t know what our learning style is. There are 3 different learning styles the first one is an auditory learner you can remember things better if you read them rather than hear them, you follow spoken instructions rather tan written ones. The second learning style is a visual learner. If you are a visual learner you learn best when you read things, or picture thing in your head so that it is easier to remember things. And lastly there is tactile learners you are a leaner that enjoys physical learning like for instance puzzles or mazes.

9 Listening skills Listening is one of the most important skills you can have, if you don’t listen you probably do a lot of things wrong and get in a lot of trouble. Hearing and listening are two very different things unlike hearing listening involves your attention and an active mind. Here are some ways you can become a better listener: be a critical thinker, think about every thing you hear and analyze your information to make sure that it makes since, make connections, does what your hearing something you already know, ask questions and get involved, most people are welcome to answering questions and having a challenge, listen and wright down the important parts and points.

10 researching The internet is filled with true and false statements. You never know what information you are gathering is true . Here are a few ways to make sure you are getting correct information: stay out of encyclopedia you never know who posted the information, always wright down your sources, always have something to check the spelling with chances are if its spelled wrong the information is wrong, there are many more ways to make sure your information is correct.

11 reading Have you ever read a book and not remembered what happen/ the best ways to prevent this are to take a survey and question your self with challenging questions like what did I learn/ read the book again this time section by section and at the end of each section reflect think about what you just read and record the important points.

12 Note-taking Even if you have a great memory you still need to take notes you never know what you are going to remember. Note taking is extremely important when you are listening to speech. When taking notes only write a summery and high light the important points and facts. One of the most popular note taking method is the Cornell method. The Cornell method is when you draw a margin on the left side of your page, about one-third of the way in , and leave the left hand column you just created blank, write your notes in the remaining two-third of the page. Later use the blank collem to fill in quick summery, important definitions, key words, questions and examples.
