Course Outcomes Social Security Systems By the end of the course, students should possess: Knowledge: Ability to determine and define the basic notions and concepts in the domain of social security, social protection, and social rights; ability to determine, define, and explain the goals of contemporary social security systems, acquire basic knowledge about the factors in the process of development and change of the social security systems, master the scientific categorical apparatus of researching different aspects of social security systems. Understanding: Ability to understand the specific problems in the process of developing different national social security systems; understand the concept of welfare state, and social welfare services; understand the influence of social factors on the properties of social security systems. Application: Ability to apply the acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge and scientific categorical apparatus in the process of formulating the problem, choosing research techniques and instruments, conceptualizing and planning research in the field of social security, as well as explaining contemporary processes and properties of social security systems.

Course Outcomes Social Security Systems By the end of the course, students should possess: Analysis: By the end of the course, students should be able to analyze the factors, phenomena, and processes in the core of social security systems and integrate the knowledge about the basic concepts in the field of social security. Synthesis: Ability to synthesize the theoretical and methodological knowledge, analytical research results and current information about the problems and principles of contemporary social security systems. Evaluation: As an element of the learning outcomes, the students should be able to critically determine the advantages and faults of the contemporary social security models, welfare state model, health, pension, and disability insurance programs, as well as unemployment insurance and protection programs for families, children, and marginalized groups, in accordance with the principles of scientific and expert competence.

Course Outcomes Social Development and Social Planning By the end of the course, students should be able to: Knowledge: Identify and define concept of social development and social planning; to explain the most important theoretical concepts about social development and social planning; to master the scientific categorical apparatus of researching different aspects of social development and social planning. Understanding: Understand the problems in the domain of social development and social planning; to understand basic relations between the main theoretical notions in this domain, to understand the influence of social factors on the properties of different types of social planning. Application: Apply the acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge and scientific categorical apparatus in the process of formulating the problem, choosing research techniques and instruments, conceptualizing and planning research in the domain of social development and social planning.

Course Outcomes Social Development and Social Planning By the end of the course, students should be able to: Analysis: Analyze the factors, phenomena, and processes of social development and social planning; analyze and compare the basic characteristics of social development and social planning in different social, economic and cultural contexts. Synthesis: Synthesize the theoretical and methodological knowledge, analytical research results and current information about the problems which characterize social development and social planning; to synthesize the knowledge on the characteristics and mechanisms of social development and social planning with other relevant expertise. Evaluation: Critically evaluate experiences, results and explanation of the process of social development and social planning in accordance with the principles of scientific and expert competence; to develop a critical attitude towards current strategic - normative documents in the domain of social development and social planning.
