1. Bible Baptist History
After I was saved. In 1980 I started going to Trollingwood Baptist Church of Haw River. John Norton was the pastor. Shortly after that he left and Paul Baker became pastor. We stayed there for several years, then went to 2733 Kirkwood Dr. in Burlington which was a 7th Day Adventist Church. They went to Trollingwood because they wanted a bigger church. We named the church Heritage Baptist Church. We were here a while. We started with just a few people.

2. Then in July of 1988 Tommy Richardson and his group of people came over and he became our pastor. We re-named the church Bible Baptist Church. Tommy Richardson’s wife Lucille played the piano along with many other responsibilities. Their daughter Lisa directed the choir. After several years the church was remodeled. Tommy Richardson was Pastor for 20 years before he went to be with the Lord. About one year later Mark Aheron became our pastor. Janet Apple was the organ player when Pastor Paul Baker first came. She left and went somewhere. When Pastor Richardson and his group came she was with them and played the organ again. Because of illness she is not able to attend church regularly.
