2. Hi-Art is the name of a ”terry lope” textile, developed by Jofama.
The material is pliable and can be used behind stretch panels as extra protection against abrasion.
The principle is that abrasion takes place against the short ends of the fibres, as apposed to a flat structure. The structure itself is also thicker, which takes more time to wear through.
The material is available in three versions:
Hi-Art Light, a thinner version, suitable for lighter clothing.
Hi-Art ”medium” used in Jeans.
Hi-Art, a thicker variety for maximum protection against abrasion.

3. Hi-Art material is used in area’s of garments which are more exposed to abrasion in case of a fall, like shoulders, elbows, hips/seat and knees.
Hi-Art can also be found in the palm area and other parts of our gloves.

4. Hi-Art Light improves abrasion resistance by 520% in combination with textile materials, as apposed to textile alone.
Hi-Art Light improves abrasion resistance by 230% in combination with leather as apposed to leather alone.
