It’s expected that your computer will work every day for any class in which it is needed.

Shut your computer down before it goes in your case.
Dropping will cause damage, even if you don’t see it right away.

Never force a port, cord, cable, or drive. If it doesn’t fit, it’s probably bent.

Use the bag you’re provided, but use common sense, too.
