2. Updated City Ordinances Gulf Shores & Orange Beach
Will require removal of personal property from beach area (south of sand fence) daily from one hour after sunset – sunrise.
Items left overnight on beach may be treated as abandoned property and will be removed and disposed of by the City.
Also regulates the digging of hazardous holes; prohibits glass containers and litter.
Includes provision for special event permits.

3. Implementation Plan Begin operations mid-February 2016.
Sign installation at all beach accesses.
Work with CVB, industry partners, beach enforcement officers to inform the public.
City personnel or private contractor will patrol beach area overnight to remove any unattended items.
Beach litter program will continue operating during the day.
