2 MAIN IDEA Jesus Christ has always been God. But because of His love for us, He chose to limit His knowledge and power as God to become human. When Jesus lived on earth, He went through the same kinds of struggles we have, but He never sinned. He became human to save us from our sin. Jesus is both fully God and fully human. NIV

3 MEMORY VERSE JOHN 1:14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. NIV

INTRODUCTION Whom do you like to talk with when you’re sad? Why? Jesus, without sinning, went through the same struggles we do when He became human. He understands what we are going through and we can pray to Him about the challenges we face. NIV
