Advantage of TASKI Fleece Bags vs. Conventional Paper Bags
1. The TASKI vento Filtration System Advantage of TASKI Fleece Bags vs. Conventional Paper Bags Better filtration: TASKI fleece bags retain % of mass (norm EN ) Konst. vacuuming performance (air flow) until bag is full. The micro-pores in the fleece do not clog as quickly as in a paper bag (which normally needs to be changed when it is half full). Less bag changes necessary As result the fleece bag can be used 50-60% longer (until it is completely full) © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 4

What should be considered selling a vento?
3. Filtration and Further Aspects What should be considered selling a vento? Following issues should be considered in sales discussions with customers, who are planning to purchase a new vacuum cleaner: Lift versus airflow 2. Long-Term durability 3. Operator-friendly features © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 14

Making the switch to a HEPA-filtered vento?
3. Filtration and Further Aspects Making the switch to a HEPA-filtered vento? 1. Lift versus airflow It is necessary, whether lift (which determines suction power) or airflow (which determines the surface area size and the quantity of debris) is more important to the inquired application. In all areas, where allergy sensitive people are living or working, HEPA filtration is a must! Areas with high hygienic demand Allergy sensitive people Fine, light material large areas to clean Heavy debris, small areas Standard applications with medium or light debris HEPA Lift Airflow © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 15

What has to be considered else?
3. Filtration and Further Aspects What has to be considered else? Long-Term durability The TASKI vento’s are made for professional use. They are durable and rugged enough for daily use in versatile applications. The durability of a HEPA-filter must also be taken into consideration. Poorly designed HEPA-filters decline in performance over time – sometimes dramatically. TASKI-HEPA-filters offer superior, long-lasting quality 3. Operator-friendly features The TASKI vento’s enable the operator to easily dispose debris without risking contamination! All filters can be replaced quickly, and only few time is needed for sanitising the vacuum itself. © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 16

Why is efficient filtration important?
4. The Science of Filtration Why is efficient filtration important? The green cleaning movement has placed a significant focus on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and the dangers that air pollution inside buildings can bring to occupants Although the particles themselves may be invisible, health hazards associated with poor air quality are very real It is important to the health and productivity of those working and living in educational, medical and hospitality facilities to have superior IAQ Improving the quality of air inside a facility can be easy as cleaning with a vacuum that uses High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) certified filter © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 21

4. The Science of Filtration
How Filtration works The smaller the degree of penetration, the cleaner is the exhaust air of the vacuum cleaner Degree of penetration = quantum of dust which is not retentioned by the filter © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 22

4. The Science of Filtration
How Filtration works In spite a filter is working like a strainer, particles which are smaller than the micro pores of the filter are retentioned Explanation: Due to the Newtonian law, each mass excites forces against other masses © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 23

Basic Know-how about Filtration 1
4. The Science of Filtration Basic Know-how about Filtration 1 There are four primary factors which affect filtration: - particle size - air speed - filter media - running time Particle size: The smaller the particle, the more difficult it is to filter. As particles become airborne in the air stream, they align themselves with the airflow and easily penetrate any filter media that is too porous. This factor makes a series of graduated filters a critical vacuum component. The TASKI vento‘s are using a multi-stage-filtration-system, where even tiny particles will be stopped by the finest filter, the HEPA-filter. © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 24
25
Basic Know-how about Filtration 2
4. The Science of Filtration Basic Know-how about Filtration 2 Air speed: The faster the particles travel, the deeper they will penetrate into the filter media. A particle travelling at a high speed may build up enough force to go through the pores of the filter material. The TASKI vento‘s with intelligent filtration slow down the air preventing particles from gathering to much velocity and enabling the other filters to operate at peak efficiency. Filter media: Filtering efficiency is effected by the surface of the filter. The larger the filter area is, the more efficiently the vacuum can filter debris, because there is a larger space to trap particles in and less frequent filter clogging. TASKI filter bags provide extra large capacity with extra large surface to eliminate suction loss. © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 25

Basic Know-how about Filtration 3
4. The Science of Filtration Basic Know-how about Filtration 3 Running Time: As the vacuum operates, debris will build up on the surface of the filter clogging the filter material. When filter becomes completely clogged, suction is reduced and performance suffers. With the new TASKI fleece filters operators can work double the time of a conventional paper bag with maximum suction and vacuum performance. © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 26

The Importance of a Multi-Stage Filtration System
4. The Science of Filtration The Importance of a Multi-Stage Filtration System High-quality vacuum cleaners for professional use should utilise a multi-stage filtration system with graduated filters This type of system traps the particles of different sizes as they travel through the filter layers Going green means, being more conscious of IAQ and healthy environmental practices as well as reducing waste Using a TASKI-vacuum cleaner with HEPA filtration is one simple step you can take toward a greener facility © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 28

Breath easier with HEPA filtered Vacuums!
4. The Science of Filtration Breath easier with HEPA filtered Vacuums! HEPA-filtered vacuums for professional use are becoming rapidly the preferred cleaning equipment of choice to control polluted areas HEPA-filtration offers an efficient way to retain dust and particles helping to preserve air quality and protect those working or living in these areas HEPA-filters consist of a fibre mat designed to remove „no less than 99.5 % of all particles“ (H12 – EN 1822) from the air that passes through them © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 29

What is Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA) ?
4. The Science of Filtration What is Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA) ? ULPA exceeds the filtration rate of the HEPA standard ULPA is a filtering efficiency specification for filters used in environments like pharmaceutical labs wherein the highest degree of clean air must be maintained An ULPA filter must retain all particles to 0.12 µm in size at an efficiency rating of % The TASKI vento does NOT offer an ULPA-option, because vacuum cleaners for ULPA-needs have to be engineered with specific technical features © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 30

The Difference between HEPA and ULPA
4. The Science of Filtration The Difference between HEPA and ULPA CEN (Comité European de Normalisation) has developed the Standard EN :1998. This European Standard divides High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) and Ultra Low Penetration Air (ULPA) filters in two subclasses. H = HEPA U = ULPA © JohnsonDiversey Europe / Page 31
