City Playground Replacement Program
City has 16 playgrounds ranging in age from new to 20+ years Each play area is evaluated by age, condition, safety and accessibility City has $25,000 annually for playground replacement

Replacement Process Replace Slides, Panels, or Other Playground Parts
Replace Entire Play Area – must meet ADA Standards Access and Safety Surfacing Equipment Spacing Needs Costs

Small Area Acres Built in 1996 at a cost of approximately $200,000 Playground for years of age Maker – Big Toys Open Field Area

Proposed Wintergreen Replacement 2016 and 2017 Approximate Costs
New Benches and Picnic Table - $3000 Play Equipment - $25,000 Safety Surfacing - $5000 Trail - $15,000 Concrete Border - $4000 Swings – Add $3000 and New Border

Remove Equipment this fall/winter Install new border this fall if possible Install new benches this fall if possible Install Playground and Surfacing in spring 2017 Ready for use in summer 2017
