2. All-loving God,
Through young eyes
you see the pain of lives 
immersed in poverty, 
the ache of wondering 
whether there will be 
food, or clothes 
or warmth.

3. May we see through unclouded eyes how we can bring relief to those struggling in the pain of poverty, joy to those longing for security, and hope to the lives of all children.

4. We make this prayer in the name of your Son, Jesus, who was made incarnate to a life of poverty and insecurity. Amen.
