Bounty Reds Twitter Contest
Objective: Promote product benefits through a fun engaging regional contest Mechanics: Consumers who resided within a 100-mile radius from the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati entered by providing up to 4 creative/messy toppings they would add to one of the following ballpark snacks: hot dog, nachos, soft pretzel, or ice cream by on Twitter and replying on Twitter to the Contest tweet. Reply needed to include the ballpark snack, the toppings and #RedsFoodPromo. Entries were judged to determine five Finalists. Before a Cincinnati Reds home game, the five Finalists’ recipes were created by the food staff and the recipes were judged to determine the Grand Prize winner. The announcer asked the audience to applaud for their favorite recipe and the Finalist whose recipe received the loudest audience applause was considered the Fan Favorite Prize winner. Prizes: Grand Prize (1): A one year supply of Bounty, two tickets to a Cincinnati Reds home game and $100 in concession dollars. Fan Favorite Prize (1): A one year supply of Bounty. Finalist Prizes (5): Two tickets to the Cincinnati Reds home, a Cincinnati Reds gift pack and specified Bounty items. DJA Handled: Promotion Administration, Twitter API, Winner Notification
