Alert the user to a specific danger Security alarms have become standard equipment used in stores and other businesses This circuit works in 12v dc supply

5 COMPONENT INFORMATION:-

6 WORKING:- The circuit is built around quad NOR gate IC CD4001
Reed switch Rs1 and magnet is placed together And act as the sensing unit Magnet is fixed in the door and the switch is placed in the door frame When the door is close, switch rs1 is also open then the 12v supply is extended to the circuit , The output gate N2 of IC1 is in logic low state

7 When the door open ,switch is also opens and
the output state changes to the logic high, enables the bistable latch realised using gates N1 and N3 as results transistor T1 activates to drive alarm push to on type switch is used to reset the alarm . working of the circuit is straight forward when someone opens the door switch rs1 also opens and the alarm raised .the alarm remains enable even the door is closed . the alarm turned off once switch s1 is pressed.

10 FUTURE SCOPE:- We can further modify this circuit by inserting an GSM in this circuit to send SMS alert the person. We can use the camera to take the snapshoot of the thief Automatic door closing
