3 Notice to proceed The notice to proceed should be issued sufficiently in advance of the required starting date to provide the contractor adequate lead time. In cases where contracts are written to provide a fixed number of calendar days for completion the notice to proceed will mark the beginning of the allotted time period

4 Change orders Change orders document from the original scope of the contract, confirm schedule revisions, and set forth other modification; they are issued, whether or not the amount of compensation to be paid to the contractors will be affected.

5 Progress payment reports
Progress payment reports are normally prepared monthly to authorize and document progress payment to the contractor. The form should be simple as possible and is generally divided into three basic parts: a heading. the body of the report information summarized at the bottom of the form.

7 Notice of completion This form states that all work under the contract is complete and that it is being processed for acceptance

This document certifies that all work is complete in accordance with plans and specification

9 Release and waiver of lien
An executed release and waiver of lien form, or other certification from contractor is normally required prior to releasing final payment. Current claims are normally exempted from the release

10 Field transmittal memorandum
An FTM is useful in all field contract correspondence, transmittals, instructions, or other communication with the contractor

11 Contract status reports:
This report can be helpful to show the status of each awarded contract. Information contained in the report will include the original contract value, number and amount of change orders in process, the revised estimated contract value at completion, and estimated completion dates

12 Contract logs A separate contract log for each contract documents daily the work performed, conditions affecting progress of the work, delays or interferences or other items of current interest or possible future significance

13 Contract force report If schedules are to be accomplished, sufficient manpower must be provided by the individual contractors
