Detailed Comprehension What genre, or type of book, is I Am Malala? In your notebook, write down the correct alternative about the book. It tells a fictional story about a Taliban girl. It describes Malala's childhood. It doesn't mention Malala's parents.

Discourse Markers Read the following sentence taken from the first text on page 53. "Education is not all about studying and getting good marks.“ What idea does the word and express? Contrast Consequence Alternative Addition And is a discourse marker. We use discourse markers to show the relationship between phrases or sentences. They help us understand the connection between the ideas in a text.
