Finally replacing Flash players (eg JWPlayer ) for web video playback and extra functionality.
eg Critical Commons needs JWPlayer to enable audio commentary playback over the top of the video clip's original audio.
Leading to : HTML5 web video + multiple audio trackers + captions
FOSS video transcoder middleware.
Stable API / multiple web frameworks (django/plone)
Admin GUI / multiple transcoder profiles.
Other services should be easily pluggable (torrents/metadata extraction)
