A few Words of Wisdom This is Mr. Bess, Assistant Principal
Good morning, South Seminole. This is Mr. Bess, Assistant Principal Each February, we set aside a special time to observe Black History Month. It gives us an opportunity to celebrate African-American culture and honor those who have made important contributions to our country and to our world. And, when we learn more about each other, we find that we have many things in common. Why? Because together, we all could make America strong.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Bess.
Poet Maya Angelou wrote that: ...diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. If we strive to understand the similarities and differences that make up our American tapestry, we can build a better future together. Each of us could weave something important into the fabric of our country. Take some time this month to learn more about some of the African American heroes who have helped make our diverse nation great. With something to think about, this is Mr. Bess. Make it a great day… or not The choice is yours.
