2
Ziksana: Key Features (as understood & of extremely high relevance to LiqVid)
Excellent Content Publishing Capabilities with time-sync’d white-board, PPT, video & overall sync etc LiqVid may need capabilities to import it’s existing HTML/flash based “interactive” content Excellent Delivery Platform: Cloud hosting & video streaming back-end services Can be embedded inside LiqVid’s own HTML5 aggregator webpage as a URL Can be setup in a LAN environment as well with a local “server” Integrated LMS framework Learner & Instructor management Usage/view based analytics per user, per course, per module/session .. Adaptive Learning & Assessment & Analytics Recommendation Engine etc
3
Key Top Level Requirements from LiqVid
Need to baseline common content creation framework across LiqVid: Video HTML5 Flash (Legacy) Need to “own” the top-level analytics interface with the user (can work with 3rd party engines under the hood through API based access) Tracking & Assessment Analytics Gamification Cloud Services for hosting & delivering Web-based content (WBT/ Web Based Delivery) (Optionally), Need to cater to current user base of LAN based solution (local server)

Key Implications on Ziksana Platform: Short Term
Requirement Details Status Publishing Being able to seem-lessly publish various course “cuts”; Support for Video, PPT, PDF, HTML5 & Flash based content Already Available Support for being able to publish “legacy” interactive content in HTML/Flash – without converting into video Available – need confirmation, esp the usage tracking of such content too Publishing / Delivery “Live” Teacher-led delivery support with white-board usage & record & archive functionalty Available – need a confirmation from Ziksana Delivery Seem-less multimedia (including video) streaming capability at Ziksana back-end Available Ability to “embed” the Ziksana delivery URL into LiqVid’s custom “aggregator” front-end LMS API based access to Learner & Instructor creation/ management Available – not sure about API level access, need confirmation
6
Key Implications (Contd.)
Requirement Details Status LMS Tracking, Reporting & Gamification Already Available Assessment Support for pushing custom MCQ based templates with different multimedia usage (Ex. An MCQ question could be based on an audio clip) Available – need confirmation Support for creating “custom” assessment forms (Eg. A teacher may be asked to listen to a learner submitted audio clip and provide a quantitative assessment based on that) ?? Need a confirmation Ability to schedule group/ batch based assessment calendar Analytics API level access to at least basic tracking and assessment data at Ziksana backend Not Available currently: Can a basic low level/raw access be provided to LiqVid?

Suggested Next Steps A conference call at earliest possibility to:
Go over these requirements Get indicative pricing suggestion from Ziksana Ziksana to send over an evaluation license of their platform ASAP It would be desirable if Ziksana demonstrates the capability of packaging LiqVid’s interactive legacy content (HTML/Flash) into Ziksana platform (non-video): Manish had already sent you representative LiqVid content
