Oral Test First, each student must read one of the poems, rhymes or stories (below). On My Way to School On my way to school today, a pig asks me to come and play. It’s not just a pig. It’s a pig in a wig! We run for the bus, just the two of us. Pig and I run very fast. We get on the bus at last. The bus zips away. Pig makes me late for school today! A Prairie Dog Home Come meet some Prairie dogs. See where they live. This Prairie dog lives with many Prairie dogs. Come into a Prairie dog home. Little Prairie dogs come out to play. They eat fresh grass. One day they will dig paths for the prairie dog home. Little Red Hen Little Red Hen had a bit of wheat to make bread. “This is a big job. Who will help plant? I will go to the well. Who will help me get some water? I will mix and mix. Who will help me do this?” Asked Little Red Hen. “Not, I,” said Dog, Pig and Cat. The Fun Kid’s Band “Aunt Nell, look at that!” said Beth. “What’s the fuss?” asked Aunt Nell. “It’s a band for kids,” said Ann. “We want to play in the band!” said Beth, Bud, Ann, and Will. “Can the kids play?” asked Aunt Nell. “Yes, let’s make instruments.” Gus said.
