6. Sometimes things that happen in the world can make us sad, anxious or confused.
It's important to remember that upsetting stories are in the news because they are rare - they don't happen very often.
Terrorist attacks are rare and it is highly unlikely that something like this will happen here in our school, or to anyone we know.
Terrorist attacks are often confusing. It may take a long time for investigators to find out what really happened.
News from sources we trust such as the BBC will report the facts , news from our friends and social media may not be accurate.

7. There have been three attacks in the UK recently, two in London and one in Manchester.
Some people died and many people were injured.
There are people in this world who do bad things, and we do not have the answers to explain why. They want to get their point of view across, they believe it is right.
Terrorism is an act that is meant to make people feel terror
( scared) and they do very bad things to make this happen.
