Go over questions about how to study culture.
Discuss how these cultural groups affect their lives.
Assessment Prompt 2: Students will make a list of 5 ways that cultural groups affect their lives.
Discuss profile of Myanmar police, Afghani Taliban fighters, serial killers, etc.
Assessment Prompt 3: Students will discuss other historical figures that influence our culture in tables and will present an example.
Summarizing Strategy:
Students will answer the essential question by completing the graphic organizer (in slides) which asks them to list 3 ways that families, groups, and communities influence our lives.
