Who is the 495/MetroWest Partnership?
Where is 495/MetroWest? 35 Communities Similar suburban challenges regarding economic development in a region with several jurisdictional boundaries. Strong growth over last 20 years, continuing constraints: Water Infrastructure Transportation Infrastructure Limited Municipal resources Sometimes easier to answer the question of where?

Annual Reports & Resources: Strength in Numbers – Annual, Regional Demographic Report demonstrating the Economic Importance of the 495/MetroWest Economy Commercial Real Estate Report with Transwestern Regional Employer Survey with Framingham State University and Worcester Business Journal 495/MetroWest Top Ten Transportation Nightmares Now that we know where the region is, what does the Partnership do? Brought Strength in Numbers 2016 with me for people, 2017 Report will be released on April 12th Over $22.5 Billion in payroll From $2 Billion in 1980 1 in 11 jobs Net importer of labor 43 Million SF of commercial real estate 37% pricing discount when compared to Boston While 128 area prices are increasing 70% of respondents in our business survey feel economy will improve in ’17 Top Ten Nightmares – Gov. Baker noted how we had solved 5 of the 10 from the 2004 List, a great batting average in the world of transportation nevertheless important projects remain as identified in the 2014 list, with Route 9 corridor identified as our #1 Nightmare and significant progress towards addressing 495/90 Interchange

Municipal Data Sheets Demographic Data and Interactive graphs This is the type of information or tools we have found useful in drawing companies to the region, ie filling vacancies like those at 250 Turnpike Rd. and 42 Central St. Additionally, our advocacy for infrastructure improvements also lends itself to drawing employers to the region, like addressing 495/9 interchange Newly available commuting patterns by community
