DEEP BLUE OUR OCEAN FACTS BY MOLLY AND KUNMI

INFORMATION The deep blue sea is a very relaxing place. It’s calm and chilled!!! Under the blue sea (ocean) there lies hundreds of ships buried by sand. Thousands of metres under the ocean in the dark. The ships look like piles of bones. Think how many mysteries they must hold!!!

Shipwrecks The first shipwreck was discovered by an Egyptian. The sailor whose ship sunk in the red sea in the middle east 4000 years ago. Shipwrecks are ships that sink under the ocean for example the Titanic crashed into a iceberg and unluckily it snapped in half and then sunk dangering lots of peoples life's.

SUNK BY A WHALE The spooky story of the shipwreck Essex was as famous in the 1800’s as the tale of the Titanic is today. The ship was sunk by whale up to 15cm and only 9 people survived. On 20th of November 1820 the ship Essex started to hunt whales in the pacific.

Marine life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are lots of animals in the sea and that’s what this report is about. First I’m going to talk about sea turtles, sea turtles are really cute animals. They are endangered creatures also loveable. They all eat jellyfish. The next animal I’m going to talk about is the manta ray, the manta rays look a lot like birds! They swim by flapping there huge wingspans of up to 6m (20ft). Sometimes they do spectacular leaps out of the water. Feather stars they are related to star fish as you might know because of the name. they are lovely creatures and it would be amazing if you come across one.
