1 Reading newspapers remotely with PressReader
Go to your library’s main website and sign in with your library card number and pin then click on their link to the PressReader site. A pop up will appear confirming you have 3 days’ complimentary access remotely. After closing the box, you will see a green coffee cup in the top left corner of the page. This means you can now read all newspapers online for the next 3 days. To download and read offline using the app, you first need to create a personal PressReader account. Click on Sign In in the top right corner and enter your address, Password, First Name and Last Name.

On your tablet, minimise your browser and open the PressReader app. Click on the profile button in the top right corner and log into the app using your personal PressReader account address and password you have just created in the browser site. After clicking Sign In you will see a green coffee cup in the top left corner of the app. This means you can now download and read all newspapers offline for the next 3 days. At the end of the 3 days, simply go back to your library’s main website on any device with a browser, sign in with your library card number and pin then click on their link to the PressReader site to reactivate your complimentary access for another 3 days.

On your iPhone, minimise your browser and open the PressReader app. Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner, then Accounts, followed by Add Account and log into the app using your personal PressReader account address and password you have just created in the browser site. Now you’re signed in you can download and read all newspapers offline for the next 3 days. At the end of the 3 days, simply go back to your library’s main website on any device with a browser, sign in with your library card number and pin then click on their link to the PressReader site to reactivate your complimentary access for another 3 days.

On your android phone, minimise your browser and open the PressReader app. Click More in the bottom right corner, then Accounts, followed by Add account and log into the app using your personal PressReader account address and password you have just created in the browser site. Now you’re signed in you can download and read all newspapers offline for the next 3 days. At the end of the 3 days, simply go back to your library’s main website on any device with a browser, sign in with your library card number and pin then click on their link to the PressReader site to reactivate your complimentary access for another 3 days.
