Staff and volunteers need training on how to protect data
You need to explain clearly why collecting personal data
And how you are going to use it
And consent must be freely given, informed and unambiguous

At what age is a young person generally considered able to give consent?
If a child can’t give consent, who can give consent on their behalf?
Do you need to have consent from the child before you receive information about a young person from social work?
