6 Our Project: We are going to use Klee's work as inspiration for our own work.   We'll also use MATH for our inspiration. Choose a one digit by one digit multiplication problem with a two digit answer.   Example: 7 x 7 = 49

7 Write that fact on your 1- inch graph paper
Write that fact on your 1- inch graph paper. Be sure your numbers FILL the square on the grid. Let your teacher check your work. Write it 7 times in the pattern shown. Trace it with a marker (one color).

8 Next, forget that these are numbers and only look at the space made by each number. Color it in patterns/designs to make it visually interesting. Repeat the patterns for each fact, but try to use different patterns within the fact.
