Contractor Mode Import/Export: Overview
The Import/Export module has one specific submodule for importing SDEF file data into the contract Emphasize that contractor mode finances are really simple (compare to gov with oblis, clin setup etc...) ✅Problems/issues are usually caused by bad planning, or decisions made without thinking about the side effects. ✅Users should keep things simple. Don't make complicated identifiers or convolute things by using negative activities or unnecessarily swapping out activities. ✅SDEF setup and import is VERY important. That will be covered in import/export training module
2
Submodules NAS (SDEF) Files are imported from Primavera
3
NAS (SDEF) Import schedule created in Primavera
Other programs' export files must conform to the SDEF specification in ER As Pay Activities are the focal point of the contract, Schedules are the foundation for Pay Activities ✅This is the easiest way to enter contractor activities ✅Publication link: ✅Emphasize the importance of encouraging contractors to take care in schedule planning so activities match up with the schedule
4
