2. Year 4 Expectations Independence Organisation Resilience Homework

Communication (Pupils and Parents)

3. Homework is set on a Friday and is due back the following Wednesday.
Homework should be completed to the best of the child’s ability.
If your child needs your support please write a small comment in the communication book to inform the teacher your child was assisted.
If the children need to change their reading books they will do this in the morning.
The reading records will be checked to ensure the children are reading at home daily.

Applying number facts to solve problems.

5. English in Year 4
We will be studying the story of Edward Tulane for the rest of the term.
To support your child at home we would encourage lots of speaking and listening tasks. For instance :-
Describe how the characters are feeling at the moment in the story.
Act a part of the story.
Predict the next part of the story.
Tell me about the day the character has had.
