2. Tim peake facts Born 7th April 1972
He lives in Chichester
He is married to Rebecca
And has two children Oliver & Thomas
He was in the British Army as a pilot
He left the Army in 2009 after 17 years
After leaving the Army he became a test pilot
He started his Astronaut training in 2011

3. Tim goes to space 15th December 2015
Tim successfully launched at 11.03am
He launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome
He was on board soyuz TMA-19M
Whilst launching he listened to music he picked three songs, Queen’s – Don’t stop me now, U2’s – Beautiful Day and Coldplay’s – A Sky full of stars
