Cape Cobra Scientific Name: Naja Nivea TOPICS in my Presentation:
Habitat How the species contributes to the diversity of life. How do humans continue to impact the Natural Environment of your chosen species?

Habitat Although the Cape cobra has a smaller geographical range than any other African cobra it occurs in a variety of different habitats. The species is in the Fynbos biome, Bush veld biome, Karoo scrubland ,Arid savannah, the Namib desert, and the Kalahari desert. This is Namib desert.

How the species contribute to the diversity of life
Snakes provide an easy environmentally friendly, free and natural pest control service. Let’s say that we were to remove the cape cobra completely, or even just reduce the numbers dramatically, from an agricultural system where grapes are farmed for wine production, the environment would be safer and crops would grow better.
5
How do humans continue to impact the natural environment of Cape Cobra
Most people try to control these pests with chemicals which end up polluting our environment. If you are one of the people that still follow the old ways that the only good snake is a dead snake, you're not alone. Many people feel this way. After all, snakes are slimy evil creatures: I mean look at those eyes and those scales disgusting right?
6
How DOES the cape cobra continue to survive
If the species lost its prey animal, then it’s predators will have to turn to alternate food sources, if available, which could cause further declines in the population numbers due to the increased competition and pressure for food resources. Depending on their size and species, snakes will eat just about anything like slugs, snails, worm, insects, fish, frogs, birds, and their eggs, mammals, and other snakes.
