Intask Standard #3: Learning Environments 2
The teacher works with others to create environments that support individual and collaborative learning, and that encourage positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation. Why I Want To Teach March 18th 2015 EDUC101 Introduction to Education This power point brings attention to what makes me want to become a teacher. From how I had no desire to the point I realized its something that I could do. It also demonstrates effective traits, my educational philosophy, and my contributions to the profession. To document my understanding of Learning Environments, I have selected a thematic plan and unit of study on teaching in Japan because the environments differ drastically from what I'm used too. I will intentionally build learner capacity to collaborate in person and on other platforms to apply effective interpersonal communication skills. 2
