Before Class Starts: Sign in at the front table take out The Book Theif novel & your notebook.
Warm Up:
Listen to a portion of The Book Theif as you read along. Listen for fluidity in reading and model your reading with the style of the audio. Fill in guided notes as we read.
Class Activities:
Comparing two mediums: The Book Theif audio vs. novel- Compare and contrast a portion of the audio to the parts of the novel you have read on your own- what was the differences in understanding based on the readers fluidity? What steps can you take to improve your own reading?
Work on notes and analysis for part 6 & 7 test on Friday
