Declarative Sentence Makes a statement or tells something.
It ends in a period Examples: I don’t like math. She feels sick. The show starts at 8pm.

Interrogative Sentence
Asks something Ends with a questions mark Examples: Did you see what she was wearing? Do you like horror movies? Do you think I would enjoy this book?

Exclamatory Sentence Shows strong feeling Ends in an exclamation point
Examples: He bit me! I’m upstairs, Mom! Christmas is coming!

Imperative Sentence Commands someone to do something
Ends with a period or an exclamation point. Examples: Take out your homework. Jon, eat more of your vegetables. Mrs. Henwood, give me back my paper. Clean your room at once!
