Associate in Arts BAE in Visual Arts, Secondary Education (70 credits) Art Department College of Arts, Letters, and Education Why study Art? Pursuing art as a major gives students the chance to develop the highest levels of artistic performance, pursue professional education, and build a cultural understanding and aesthetic appreciation of visual art. Education Program In addition to studying art and choosing a studio discipline, Art Education students complete the Secondary Education program, which leads to certification to teach grades preschool-12 in the State of Washington.
